Guess what arrived today???

My new passport!!!

New and good for 10 years!!

I still have a few things to do from the last to do list, but I’m getting there.  This was by far the most important one to knock off the list.  Now I can update our flight reservations with my passport number.  Woo hoo!

This week I made an additional payment on the campervan, so that’ll be one less thing to worry about when we get there.  My goal is to have most everything paid for ahead of time so we don’t have to worry with it when we get there.

Still left to do:

• Book airfare from SYD to ADL [I think I found the flight we should take – it’s 3.5 hours after we’d land in Sydney, which should give us enough time to go through Customs and get to the domestic airport]
• Book hotel for Adelaide [pure laziness is preventing me from doing this right now]
• Find a place to stay on our last night on the road…
• Purchase tickets to the NYE party we want to go to (available for purchase in October)
• Purchase Beers & Beans’ eBook Getting Out of Auto – tips on taking better travel photos [it looks awesome!]
• Purchase trip insurance – anyone have any suggestions on places to go through?  Currently looking at World Nomads.

And that’s where we are.

This trip can’t get here soon enough!
